Dr. Phillip L. Dunn
Phillip began serving as our senior pastor in March, 2014. He loves the local church and seeing lives changed by the gospel. He is passionate about preaching, evangelism, discipleship, and missions.
He has served on missions trips to Ukraine, India, Chile, Mexico, Honduras, Nicaragua, and Peru. He also enjoys leading discovery trips to Israel.
Phillip was raised in Fredericktown, Missouri. He earned his bachelor’s degree in Religious Studies from Liberty University and both his Masters of Divinity with Languages degree and Doctor of Philosophy degree from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas. He has served churches in Texas and Florida.
The joy of his life is being married to Jamie and raising their three children Brenden, Reese, and Indee. He is a fan of the St. Louis Cardinals, enjoys coffee, and eats sweets as often as possible!

Robbie Yarborough is our Executive Pastor and works in sync with the heart and vision of our Senior Pastor and ministry team at Millbrook to impact our city, region, and world with the gospel. Serving as Executive Pastor since September 2015, Robbie combines the necessary administrative skills with a pastoral heart and ministry calling that seeks to take us in the direction God is leading. He is married to Jenny and they have 5 children: Emma Grace, Jay Jay, Cross, Anderson, and Jeremiah. Born and raised in Aiken, he placed his faith in Christ when he was 8 years old and was baptized at Millbrook Baptist Church. A 1994 graduate of Clemson University, Robbie has extensive business experience and had been actively serving in our Sunday School ministry and Men’s Ministry for several years. During his years of volunteer ministry, Robbie felt a growing understanding that God was in fact calling him into full-time vocational ministry. What a blessing it is that God would use that calling to raise and prepare “one of our own” for a future of faithful service at Millbrook.
senior adult/ pastoral care ministry
Pastor Donald Pope is our new Senior Adult Pastor. Donald and his wife Suzanne are coming to us from Canton, Georgia, where Pastor Donald served as an Associate Pastor from 2014 to 2016 at First Baptist Canton. He has served in various positions in his 30 years of ministry. He has been a senior pastor, associate pastor, and a senior adult pastor in churches of all sizes. He also has a heart for seminary education for others and was a professor at Covington Seminary. He served as an Evangelism Field Consultant for the Baptist Convention of North Carolina.
Pastor Donald earned an A.D. in Civil Engineering from Wake Technical College in Raleigh, North Carolina, and a B.A. in Psychology from North Carolina Wesleyan College. He went on to earn a Master of Divinity from Mid-America Baptist Theological Seminary in Memphis, Tennessee.
Bill Howard has been married to Alicia for 30 years. They have 4 children, Will, Braeden, Lauren and Rhett. Bill accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior at the age of 9 and surrendered to full time ministry in 1992. They have been ministering at Millbrook since September of 2009. He holds a Bachelor of Music degree from the University of South Carolina and a Diploma in Pastoral Ministries from the Southern Baptist Convention Seminary Extension. Bill served as Worship Pastor at FBC Camden for 17 years before coming to Millbrook. Bills life verse is found in II Samuel 24:24, “I will not sacrifice to the Lord my God an offering that cost me nothing.”
In his spare time Bill enjoys playing golf, relaxing in Charleston, coaching little league baseball and hanging out with Alicia and the kids.
modern worship/ creative arts ministry
Logan Crane is our Modern Worship and Creative Arts Pastor. Logan and his wife, Halie met at The University of Mobile and have been been married for 2 years. Logan surrendered to full-time ministry his senior year of high school, and he has been called by God to lead worship. Logan attended The University of Mobile and focused on Worship Leadership with a concentration in Church Ministry.
discipleship/ singles ministry
Gary has been married to his wife Chris for 32 years and they have 4 children and 5 grandchildren. He was born in Vineland, New Jersey and joined the Marine Corps after graduation and spent 8 years in the Marines. Gary was radically changed at a revival at a small church in Woodlawn, Illinois on March 28th 1993. He was called to the ministry in 2004 and started attending Seminary. He received his Associate in Religious Education from Covington Theological Seminary and is finishing up his Bachelors of Ministry from Andersonville Theological Seminary. Gary has been at Millbrook since April 2012. His life verse is Philemon 1: 5 – 6, “because I hear about your love for all his holy people and your faith in the Lord Jesus. I pray that your partnership with us in the faith may be effective in deepening your understanding of every good thing we share for the sake of Christ.” Gary loves spending time with his family, especially with his grandchildren.
Jason comes to Millbrook with over thirteen years of student ministry experience and most recently by way of Dawson Memorial Baptist Church, Birmingham, Alabama, where he served as Student Pastor for the past two and half years. Jason and his wife Marsha desire to help ignite teenager’s hearts for Christ in various ways. Having studied at Atlanta Christian College in East Point, Georgia, Jason believes strongly in connecting with and equipping teachers and parents to reach students, as well as high energy worship, God-driven messages, fellowship outings, mission trips, and Bible studies. Jason also believes in order to build those relationships with students you must be a part of their everyday lives. Because of that, Jason will often be seen at local schools, games, programs and a variety of other community events throughout the year. Jason is the founder of Greater Ministries, which is a non-profit ministry with the passion to help all people identify and unleash their talents.
Scott Shipes has been married to Tonya Peals for over 25 years. They have 6 children, Makenzie (Tyler Smith), Hunter (Tara), Chandler, Parker, Joseph and Joshua and one grandchild, Stella Smith. At age 36. he put his faith in Jesus Christ and 12 years later surrendered into fulltime ministry. Scott and his family lived and served on the mission field in Botswana, Africa from July 2010 until they returned home in July 2013 to serve as directors at the Hope Center for Christ Central Ministries. Their work abroad involved going into communities to equip leaders on how to develop children by meeting their mental, physical, social and spiritual needs. He attended Clemson University where he received his undergraduate degree in Textile Technology and finished his Masters of Christian Ministry from North Greenville University in May 2015. His life verse is Deuteronomy 6:5-7.
Pastor Allen Franklin is married to his wife Joan and have a son, John and daughter, Jill. He was born in Augusta, GA and grew up in Jackson. He received the Lord Jesus Christ at the age of 45. In February 2005 he was ordained and his deaf church in Columbia, SC called him as their pastor. In June 2008, Pastor Allen came to Millbrook to start the deaf ministry. He is currently studying at the Tri-State Deaf School of Theology. His life verses are 2 Peter 3:18 and John 14:6. In his spare time, Pastor Allen enjoys fishing.
communications/ media ministry
Katherine Granillo is our Minister of Media. She was born in Galveston, TX and accepted Christ as her Savior at the age of 8. She graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree Music Concentration/ Technology Arts Option from the University of South Carolina Aiken. After graduating college, she surrendered to the call to full time ministry in 2002. She holds a Master of Church Music degree from the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, KY. She has served at Millbrook since March 2006. Her life verse is Psalm 37:4, “Delight yourself in the Lord, and He will give you the desires of your heart.” In her spare time, Katherine enjoys playing tennis, cooking, reading, composing music, and playing the violin and piano.
