ABOUT US

First building – 1886

New Sanctuary building – 1962

Current Worship Center – 2005

OUR HISTORY

Beginning in 1886, with just 16 members, Millbrook has always been a church dedicated to sharing the good news of Jesus and salvation in Aiken and beyond. In 1959, a new temporary sanctuary was built and used as such until 1962 when a new sanctuary was built and dedicated. The temporary sanctuary was converted into what is now the James Rivers Education Building where most of our Adult Connect Groups meet. In 2005, our current Worship Center was built and dedicated. The former sanctuary was converted into Kid City, which now houses our Kids Connect Groups and Worship. To God be the glory for the growth of our church. It is our prayer that the years ahead will see an even greater growth and impact for His glory.

OUR MISSION

Millbrook exists to make disciples who celebrate God, find community, grow deeper, and change the world.

OUR CORE VALUES

BIBLICAL TEACHING

We believe the Bible is the inspired, inerrant, and authoritative Word of God. We communicate God’s word with integrity to help all people know Christ and assist believers to mature in Him.
2 Timothy 3:16

AUTHENTIC WORSHIP

We believe we are created to worship God. Worship is a lifestyle that acknowledges who God is and what He has done which is central to our daily walk with Christ and our weekly worship gatherings.
Romans 12:1

OBEDIENT STEWARDSHIP

We believe God is the owner of all things, and He provides the resources for us to accomplish His purposes. In obedience to Him, we generously give our time, talents, and finances to further His kingdom.
1 Peter 4:10

REACHING OUT

We believe it is a privilege and the responsibility of every believer to share the gospel of Jesus Christ. We each have God-given gifts and talents, as well as unique opportunities to share Christ with everyone.
Mark 16:15

BUILDING RELATIONSHIPS

We believe we are made to live in community with each other. We build strong relationships that promote unity within the church as we love and care for one another.
Hebrews 10:24-25

SERVING OTHERS

We believe God has shaped us all to serve. We commit to serve together, for the ministry of the church is in the hands of many.
Ephesians 6:7

MOVING FORWARD

We believe in taking next steps in our relationship with Christ. We grow steadily and mature deeper as we continuously pursue and follow Christ.
Hebrews 6:1
